In November, our kindergarten children launched a new composting project as part of our ongoing sustainability program. Guided by their educators, the children ventured into our private natural habitat — a beautiful acre of land surrounding the centre — to learn how food scraps and garden waste can be transformed into nutrient-rich soil that helps our plants thrive.
The children loved collecting dried leaves, adding soil, and turning the compost drum — a fun, hands-on experience that nurtures responsibility and care for the environment. They’ll continue visiting the compost each week, watching nature’s recycling process and using the compost to enrich our thriving vegetable garden.
